The Club General Manager will oversee gym operations to ensure an exceptional “Judgment Free” member experience and a financially successful club. The manager will lead a team of employees, providing training and development, and ensuring high standards of customer service.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  1. Create a welcoming atmosphere for members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring team adherence to customer service guidelines.
  2. Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team, including Assistant Managers, Member Service Representatives, Trainers, and Custodians.
  3. Schedule team shifts to ensure all hours are covered.
  4. Lead by example, maintaining accountability through training and coaching, aligning with PF’s values and goals.
  5. Manage weekly employee payroll processing.
  6. Resolve employee issues professionally and diplomatically.
  7. Escalate member, staff, and club issues to the Area Manager.
  8. Handle front desk activities such as answering phones, member check-ins, club cleaning, member tours, and facilitating member requests.
  9. Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the facility.
  10. Ensure safety of staff, members, and property.
  11. Coordinate equipment repairs and communicate needs promptly.
  12. Manage marketing efforts and ensure team awareness of promotions.
  13. Authorize expenditures and refunds, and handle daily bank deposits if applicable.
  14. Prepare HR-related forms and coordinate with the Corporate Payroll Team.
Qualifications/Requirements
  1. Minimum 1 year of management experience.
  2. At least 2 years of customer service experience with excellent interpersonal skills.
  3. Basic computer skills.
  4. Passion for fitness and health.
  5. High energy, positive attitude, punctuality, and reliability.
  6. Strong listening and problem-solving skills.
  7. High School diploma/GED preferred.
  8. Must be 18 years or older.
Physical Demands
  1. Stand and walk continuously during shifts.
  2. Talk frequently in person or on the phone.
  3. Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  4. Handle cleaning chemicals.
  5. Perform movements such as bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, and twisting.
