Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience as a Fitness Trainer with personalized programs.
• Current personal training certifications: ACSM, NASM, ACE, PTA Global, NFPT, ISSA, CSCS or NSCA.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certification within last 6 months; group exercise instructor certification (AFAA or ACE).
• College degree in health, fitness, exercise science, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the exercise and fitness areas; support members and guests with programs.
• Evaluate fitness needs and provide appropriate exercise plans.
• Conduct New Member Fit Start appointments and track progress.
• Promote facilities, programs and services while upholding club standards.
• Maintain current fitness certifications and update schedules; forecast sessions and goals.
