Job summary

Newportchamber is looking for a part-time facility maintenance worker to support the upkeep of Club buildings and grounds. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in maintenance or construction. Tasks include repairs, equipment inspections, and assistance during fundraising events.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with proficiency in using power tools and safety equipment. Flexibility for evening and weekend work is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in facility maintenance or construction preferred.
• Must be able to obtain a Chauffeur Driver’s License within the first 90 days of employment.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on club facilities and equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify safety hazards.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down equipment for events.
