Pier Sixty-Six is seeking a well-rounded Club Concierge / Front Desk professional to join the Pier Sixty-Six Club team in Fort Lauderdale. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, managing inquiries, and coordinating services across the resort and club offerings.

Ideal candidates have luxury hotel experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently. A high school diploma is required, with hospitality education a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and accurately to guest inquiries regarding club and resort services, hours of operation, and events; make recommendations for a memorable experience.
  • Process and manage packages, faxes, messages, and mail; coordinate with valet for guest vehicles.
  • Maintain up-to-date collateral for vendors, restaurants, and local attractions; provide guest information and reservations as needed.
  • Build strong rapport with guests and residents, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Input and track special arrangements using hotel software and coordinate with Engineering and Housekeeping.

We currently have an opportunity for a well‑rounded and seasoned Club Concierge /Front Desk to join our Pier Sixty‑Six Club team!

Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly and accurately to all customer inquiries regarding Club and Resort hotel services, hours of operation, key personnel, in‑house events, and directions. Make recommendations based on local knowledge and Resort practices to ensure a positive and memorable experience.
  • Efficiently process and manage packages, faxes, messages, and mail, whether outgoing or incoming. Handle the storage and retrieval of packages, dry cleaning, and flowers. Coordinate with the valet staff to retrieve guest vehicles.
  • Ensure that collateral and information related to vendors, restaurants, museums, attractions, maps, and other local points of interest are up‑to‑date and accurate.
  • Stay informed about local activities (e.g., theatre, sports, concerts, shows, special exhibits, sightseeing) and develop strong relationships with local vendors to offer guests information, transportation, ticketing, and reservations.
  • Use various software programs to accurately input and track special arrangements, such as Engineering and Housekeeping requests.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the lobby and other common areas, ensuring they are always in optimal condition.
  • Undertake other tasks or projects as assigned by the Management team.
  • Provide coverage for other roles during meal periods and in case of emergency.
  • Build and establish a strong & professional rapport with guests/residents, maintaining an excellent customer relationship.
  • Assists with guest experience responsibilities and duties in the absence of a team member or due to heavy volume.
  • Assist with other tasks as required and where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests
  • Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
  • Les Clefs d’Or is preferred.
  • Must have previous luxury hotel experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality management or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Strong proficiency in using hotel management software and computer systems.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial and administrative tasks.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the work shift, with frequent movement between the front desk, lobby, guest areas, and other hotel locations.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and crouch as needed to perform job duties.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull guest luggage, packages, supplies, and equipment weighing up to 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to frequently use hands and fingers for computer operation, telephone use, writing, handling documents, and other front desk equipment.
  • Must have sufficient visual and auditory ability to interact with guests, monitor the front desk area, and respond to telephone and in‑person requests.
  • Must be able to navigate the hotel property safely, including walking on various floor surfaces and using stairs when necessary.
  • Must be able to work in a fast‑paced, guest‑facing environment and remain attentive for extended periods.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and leadership in person and by telephone.
