Job summary

The Ford Field & River Club Inc is seeking a Communications Manager to lead internal and external communications, manage the Club’s private portal and Mobile App, and oversee newsletters. You will collaborate with department heads, contribute to the Club’s growth strategy, and ensure brand consistency across all platforms.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to multitask.
• Experience in hospitality, private clubs, communications or marketing.
• Engaging, articulate, detail-oriented with copy editing experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; news-style writing, feature writing, copywriting, proofreading and editing.
• Proficient with English grammar and editing.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Team player with initiative and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Writes, edits, and produces newsletters and club communications.
• Maintains the private portal website, mobile app, and onboarding site.
• Coordinates events, calendars, and prints materials for departments.
• Captures internal photography/videos for newsletters and social media.
• Serves as liaison between Board/committees and membership for updates.
• Coordinates emergency communications and disseminates weather updates when needed.
• Supports KPI tracking via surveys and forms.
