Job summary

24 Hour Fitness USA, LLC in Hayward, CA is seeking a Club Attendant to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a healthy, clean facility through cleaning and maintenance tasks.

You will clean and dust surfaces, sweep and mop floors, restock supplies, empty trash, and assist with minor repairs under supervision of the General Manager and Facilities Technician. Travel between areas and clubs may be required; physical stamina is important.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months janitorial experience preferred.
• Regularly stand, walk and use hands during duties.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and dusts walls, mirrors, countertops, glass, and windows.
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums floors in all club areas.
• Cleans and dusts weight and cardio equipment.
• Restocks supplies and empties garbage/recycling containers.
• Performs daily/weekly scope of work and special cleaning projects as assigned.
• Cleans and maintains wet areas when applicable and participates in pool cleaning/testing where present.
• Performs minor cosmetic repairs and coordinates with Facilities Technician for maintenance.
