The University of California - San Diego Medical Centers is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to perform waived, moderate, and high complexity testing and to evaluate results, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Under general supervision, performs waived, moderate, and high complexity testing; evaluates test results; performs and evaluates quality control procedures; performs preventive maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting. Provides laboratory services in a timely manner and consistently delivers excellent customer service. Serves as a technical resource for customers and other staff. Adheres to all safety policies. Performs other related CLS functions as required.
Annual Full Pay Range: $110,079 - $145,408 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $52.72 - $69.64
