Job Description

Clow Valve's Metal Casting Facility has an immediate opening for a Brass Cut Off Saw Operator.

Shift: 3rd Shift

Starting Wage: $24.42

Sign-on Bonus: $500 after completing 120 days of probation

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Loading and unloading castings into the Pangborn machine.
2. Cleaning the Pangborn machine area.
3. Setting up and tooling the cut-off saw.
4. Cutting apart castings and placing them into appropriate bins.
5. Cleaning the cut-off saw area.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift and carry over 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, and twist for more than 8 hours.
• Basic reading, writing, and comprehension skills for training and instructions.
• Ability to work in extreme heat conditions.
• Experience working around moving machinery such as ladles, cranes, and forklifts.
• Proper use of PPE including respirator, metatarsal boots, eye and hearing protection, and aluminized gear.
