Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced SDM to lead the CloudTrail engineering team in Seattle. You will manage technical leaders, drive architectural decisions, and deliver scalable auditing systems while aligning with business goals.

The role requires deep cloud expertise, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering high-impact software in a fast-moving environment. You will collaborate across teams and mentor engineers to raise the bar on quality and delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years working directly within engineering teams.
• 3+ years designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• 8+ years leading development of applications backed by AWS services or using other cloud based technologies and services.
• Experience communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
