Job summary

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Laurel, MD. The role focuses on expanding DevOps adoption, migrating capabilities to AWS and other clouds, and driving efficiency through CI/CD, automation, and secure cloud practices.

Candidates should have an active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope poly, a IT-related degree or equivalent experience, and practical cloud experience.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI security clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
Three years of software development/engineering; degree plus two years or four years without degree.
Two years of cloud technology experience and DevOps practice management.
Experience with CI/CD, documentation, and agile development.

Responsibilities

Assess current capabilities and plan cloud adoption and app migration.
Identify data migration, security, legal, and compliance needs for cloud projects.
Collaborate with System Administrators to coordinate cloud transitions and ops.
Leverage Ansible and automation tools to streamline deployment and ops tasks.
Plan, test, and deploy security patches, kernel updates, and upgrades.
Design and test software changes for cloud transitions per direction.
Develop and coordinate deployment plans for cloud environments.
Apply cloud engineering expertise to optimize performance and reliability.
