SUMMARY
This role is responsible for managing and ensuring compliance for all technology related to D&H tenancy, collaborating with IT Infrastructure and Security to implement and enforce tenant services, architecture, automation, and governance across cloud environments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Azure Cloud Architecture: Design/manage Azure environments (VNETs, Entra ID/IAM, AKS, Load Balancers, Storage) for high availability and resilience.
- Kubernetes & Containers: Operate AKS clusters using Helm, ingress controllers, and troubleshoot containerized workloads.
- Infrastructure as Code & Configuration: Provision Azure with Terraform; automate configuration using Ansible.
- Ansible Automation: Build, test, and run playbooks, roles, and collections; administer Automation Controller/AWX; implement Ansible Vault and Azure Key Vault; integrate with Azure DevOps and GitOps pipelines; enforce RBAC and security standards.
- CI/CD & GitOps: Manage Azure DevOps pipelines, ArgoCD, and GitOps‑based deployment workflows.
- Security & Compliance: Apply Azure‑native security controls, least‑privilege access, secrets management, and support SOC 2 readiness.
- Observability & Reliability: Own monitoring, logging, tracing, and incident response for cloud services and automation jobs.
- Programming & Scripting: Automate and build tooling with PowerShell; Python and Bash desirable.
- Technical Leadership: Lead system design, documentation, mentorship, and cross‑team collaboration.
- Perform audits and resolve discrepancies for compliance and optimization.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and business units on subscription lifecycle and assignments.
- Advise stakeholders on tenant technologies and changes.
- Support budgeting and forecasting for subscription costs.
- Ensure cloud resiliency (backup, disaster recovery) and performance optimization.
- Maintain operational documentation, and governance.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Associate’s degree in IT or equivalent experience required
- 3–5 years in license/subscription management for technology solutions.
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Fundamentals) preferred; Ansible certifications a plus.
- Experience with enterprise vendors (Microsoft, VMware, AWS, SAP) is a plus
