Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking an IS Technical Specialist to provide technical and consultative support on the most complex matters, analyzing, designing, and developing systems per user specifications. You will work with IT, vendor and business groups, mentor less-experienced staff, lead projects when needed, and stay current with industry trends.

A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience, plus Python, AWS and/or GCP and RESTful API skills, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of related experience; 4 additional years considered.
• Proficiency in Python, AWS and/or GCP, RESTful APIs.
• Strong customer service and cross-group collaboration.
• Willing to lead and guide junior technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, designs, and develops systems based upon user specifications.
• Provides technical assistance in solving hardware or software problems.
• Maintains knowledge of tools for systems development and support.
• Keeps current with industry trends as they apply to Huntington.
• May assist with training needs or training of less experienced staff.
• May serve as project leader for specific projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
