Job summary

AutoZone seeks a Systems Engineer to join the Cloud Operations team, designing, deploying, and optimizing our GCP-based infrastructure. You will implement Terraform provisioning, manage GKE clusters, and run GitOps deployments with ArgoCD while building CI/CD pipelines and observability tools for reliable operations.

You will collaborate with development, SRE, and platform teams to ensure scalable, secure delivery of applications, including AI/ML infrastructure and automation support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience with GKE (Standard/Autopilot) and cluster upgrades.
• Proficient in Terraform IaC and cloud networking.
• Proficient in GitLab CI/CD and GitOps with ArgoCD.
• Strong observability and incident response capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on GCP.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical incidents.
• Document runbooks, architecture decisions, and procedures.
