Job summary

Fidelity Investments Inc. seeks an expert Principal Systems Engineer to design, implement, and sustain cloud-based systems supporting critical production environments. You will develop automation pipelines, enable scalable software delivery, and mentor the team across infrastructure, cloud enablement, and deployment activities.

You will modernize systems, optimize stability, and advise on architecture and operational efficiency, while aligning with regulatory and financial services requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and supporting production cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Participates in system and enterprise architecture design teams.
• Defines and implements system-level architecture across platforms.
• Designs, implements, and supports systems and subsystems for the division.
• Recommends testing tools and methodologies and validates test plans.
• Responsible for operational readiness and reliability of deliverables.
• Develops documentation for multiple systems and platforms.
• Plans and coordinates complex project schedules across initiatives.
• Acts as liaison for business units to resolve issues.
• Provides tech solutions and estimates for initiatives.
• Advises on infrastructure strategy to senior management.
• Mentors junior team members.
• Performs complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects.
