CGS Federal is seeking a Cloud Systems Architect at a mid-level, full-time to design and manage cloud infrastructure across public, private, and hybrid environments. The role emphasizes AWS and Azure proficiency, security collaboration with IT, and engineering initiatives connecting on-premise systems with cloud resources.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with cloud computing technologies.
• Experience migrating applications to the cloud.
• Ability to align cloud solutions with customer needs.
• Knowledge of cloud security and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on cloud management strategies and cost optimization.
• Work with IT Security to manage cloud security.
• Engineer on customer premise applications connected to cloud resources.
• Design system architectures for complex computer systems.
• Define system specifications and ensure hardware/software compatibility.
• Coordinate subsystems and integration; diagnose deficiencies.
• Develop and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance to DBAs and developers.
