$167,032.32/yr - $226,686.72/yr

We are seeking a Cloud Systems Architect with experience in cloud infrastructure to engineer and support public, private, and hybrid clouds. The ideal candidate will be proficient in cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.

Skills and attributes for success:

• The candidate will be knowledgeable of the latest updates and developments in cloud management strategies and will advise our customers accordingly, leveraging benefits like workload flexibility, on-demand workstation initiation, and pay-per-use models.
• The candidate will collaborate with the IT Security team to manage and maintain cloud system security for data and network resources.
• The candidate will be responsible for engineering on-premises applications and systems interconnected with cloud resources.
• Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing complex computer systems.
• Determines system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and security.
• Coordinates the design of subsystems and integration of the total system, identifying and resolving program support deficiencies.
• Develops and recommends corrective actions.
• May provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers.

Qualifications:

• Experience with and comprehensive understanding of cloud computing technology.
• Experience migrating applications to the cloud.
• Ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members.
• Knowledge to integrate services and tools across networks and data processing areas.
• Knowledge to implement security information and event management to safeguard assets.
• Experience meeting or exceeding cloud provider SLAs; familiarity with AWS and Azure.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PHP, Java, Node, and Ruby on Rails.
• Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant work experience or equivalent.
