$167,032.32/yr - $226,686.72/yr

We are seeking a Cloud Systems Architect with experience in cloud infrastructure to engineer and support public, private, and hybrid clouds. The ideal candidate will be proficient in cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.

Skills and attributes for success:

• The candidate will be knowledgeable of recent updates and developments and act as an advisor on cloud management strategies to maximize benefits such as workload flexibility, scalable workstations, and pay-as-you-go models.
• The candidate will collaborate with the IT Security team to manage and maintain cloud system security for data and network resources.
• The candidate will be responsible for engineering on-premises applications and systems interconnected with cloud resources.
• Design and define system architecture for complex computer systems, ensuring hardware/software compatibility and security.
• Coordinate subsystem design and system integration, and analyze and resolve program support deficiencies.
• Develop and recommend corrective actions.
• May provide technical guidance to database administrators and software developers.

Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud computing technology and migration of applications to the cloud.
• Ability to build relationships between customers and team members.
• Knowledge to integrate services and tools across networks and data processing.
• Experience implementing security information and event management to protect assets.
• Experience with AWS and Azure, meeting or exceeding cloud provider SLAs.
• Knowledge of programming languages including Python, PHP, Java, Node.js, and Ruby on Rails.
• Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
