Job summary

ITC is seeking a Mid-Level Cloud System Administrator to support cloud infrastructure across government-grade systems. The role focuses on implementing, monitoring, and maintaining cloud platforms with a mix of Linux, Hadoop, and NoSQL components.

You will work with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and Traefik to secure and optimize systems, while scripting in Python, Perl, or Ruby to automate repetitive tasks. The position involves collaboration with the CCC Partnerships Team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Four years of additional relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
Five years of experience managing Hadoop clusters (>200 nodes).
Experience with Linux and container technologies (Docker).
Proficiency with Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Ansible, and Traefik.
Scripting with Python, Perl, or Ruby for automation.

Responsibilities

Provides support for cloud system implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
Handles Tier 1 and Tier 2 issue identification, diagnosis and resolution.
Configures and tunes cloud infrastructure, security configs, patching, and troubleshooting.
Works with Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, NoSQL like HBase/Accumulo/Bigtable).
Writes automation scripts for system tasks and repeatable processes.
Supports onboarding of DIB companies via CCC Partnerships Team.
