Job summary

Socket.dev is hiring a Cloud Systems Administrator II to support Linux systems, containerized environments, and cloud-native tools within a mission-focused team. You’ll onboard and assist DIB CCC partners, ensuring secure, modern tech services are adopted successfully.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Traefik, and IaC tools, with a focus on secure, scalable deployments and partner readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Connect to and manage Linux systems using SSH.
• Install, configure, and verify software packages using RPM and YUM.
• Monitor and gather status from Linux servers to ensure stable system performance.
• Support containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Traefik.
• Work with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation to automate and manage deployments.
• Assist in vetting and onboarding DIB companies into CCC programs by validating their technical readiness and helping troubleshoot foundational cloud and container issues.
