Job summary

Set of X is seeking a highly motivated Cloud System Administrator to support the deployment, administration, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure in a secure environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong Linux administration skills and experience with containerized applications, automation tools, and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities include deploying and managing containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes, configuring Traefik ingress, and implementing IaC with Terraform

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience deploying and managing applications using Helm Charts.
• Experience with Ansible automation and configuration management.
• Knowledge of AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Experience with Traefik ingress and networking concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mission-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform Linux system administration tasks including monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Remotely connect to Linux systems using SSH for admin and support tasks.
• Install, configure, and maintain software packages using RPM/YUM.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Configure Traefik ingress controllers and related networking components.
• Gather system status and performance metrics from Linux environments.
• Develop, implement, and maintain automation using Ansible.
• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Install, configure, and maintain applications using Helm charts within Kubernetes.
• Support cloud operations, system upgrades, security patching, and configuration management.
• Collaborate with engineers, DevOps, and sysadmins to ensure reliable cloud services.
• Troubleshoot system, application, and infra issues to maintain availability.
