Job summary

Cypress HCM is seeking a Systems Administrator to join the Operations Engineering team. You will manage and operate the global cloud infrastructure that underpins our SaaS product, collaborating with engineers across the company to ensure scalability and reliability.

You will implement IaC, build automation tools, and tackle incidents in a fast-paced environment. A strong Linux background and experience with monitoring, configuration management, and distributed systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux expertise is a must.
• Expert-level skills in systems administration and engineering.
• Understanding cloud infrastructure components (hardware, OS, apps, networks).
• Experience in Site Reliability Engineering/DevOps and managing large-scale server infra.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Configuration Management and IaC for global private cloud.
• Develop tools in Python, Bash, and JavaScript to reduce manual work.
• Drive enhancements for large-scale automation projects (patching, provisioning, kickstart).
• Design procedures for maintenance when automation cannot cover it; drive root-cause analysis.
