Job summary

Skydio is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to own and evolve our Kubernetes fleet and core product infrastructure. This hybrid role blends software and operations, allowing you to influence architecture, security, and functionality across the stack.

You will work across teams to extend continuous delivery, reduce costs, and implement robust deployment practices while ensuring data and drone safety through strong security collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a platform engineer, DevOps or equivalent infrastructure role.
• Comfortable debugging and automating Kubernetes clusters.
• Willingness to touch code to fix underlying issues (Python or Go preferred).
• Experience implementing continuous deployment systems.

Responsibilities

• Re-architect and maintain the Kubernetes fleet and its supporting infrastructure.
• Continually improve and expand the product's CD pipeline.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams from hardware to cloud to build platform capabilities.
• Work with security to enhance controls that protect customer data and devices.
