Job summary

Google in Sunnyvale, CA, is seeking a Lead Group Product Manager for Cloud SQL Platform to drive outlook, strategy and delivery across performance, availability and security. You will lead cross-functional teams and partner with engineering, design and sales to shape product roadmaps and go-to-market plans.

The role emphasizes ownership of end-to-end product delivery, collaboration across product areas, and leveraging AI capabilities to enhance user experiences at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of product management or a related technical role.
• 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
• 5 years of experience with SaaS products in the relational database space.
• 5 years of experience in people management, with technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the roadmap and strategy for Cloud SQL platform across multiple product areas.
• Lead and coach a team of Product Managers to define the roadmap for individual areas.
• Partner closely with adjacent product areas for better portfolio level integrations and go-to-market strategies.
• Collaborate with engine product management leads to drive growth and present at executive reviews.
• Leverage Google's AI capabilities to improve product experiences and drive AI adoption.
