Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Lead Group Product Manager for Cloud SQL Platform to guide product strategy from concept to delivery. You will lead PMs across multiple areas, align with business goals, and ensure security and performance while driving AI-enabled improvements.

You will break down complex problems, collaborate with engineering, UX, and sales, and influence cross-product strategy to deliver impactful, scalable solutions for customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
• 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1).
• 5 years of experience with SaaS products in the relational database space.
• 5 years of experience in people management, with technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the roadmap and strategy for Cloud SQL platform across multiple product areas.
• Lead and coach a team of Product Managers, to define roadmap for individual areas, foster collaboration and healthy team environment to deliver results.
• Partner closely with adjacent product areas and identify opportunities for better portfolio level integrations and go-to-market strategies.
• Collaborate closely with the various engine product management leads to drive growth of the business. Synthesize data and present at business reviews to executives.
• Leverage Google's powerful AI capabilities to improve product capabilities and improve organizational effectiveness by driving adoption of AI tools and best practices.
