Job summary

TIAA is seeking a cloud-focused engineer to design and manage scalable cloud storage, build data pipelines, and automate workflows with Python and Flask. You will provision infrastructure using Terraform and CloudBees and contribute to AI initiatives via MCP Services.

Responsibilities include implementing IaC, monitoring resources, and optimizing ETL/analytics, while collaborating with senior engineers and expanding expertise in AWS, Terraform, CloudBees, and AI tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years implementing and managing enterprise cloud backup and storage solutions.
• 3+ years experience working with Data Domain.
• 2+ years of experience in Python development.

Responsibilities

• Assists in designing and implementing cloud-based information systems on AWS infrastructure by defining scope and building AI solutions.
• Implements and maintains infrastructure as code with Terraform and configures CI/CD pipelines with CloudBees.
• Develops data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and analytics components using Python or Java.
• Creates and maintains technical documentation, troubleshoots issues, and participates in code reviews.
• Provides user training materials and sessions, and gathers feedback for adoption and effectiveness.
• Monitors operations with AWS CloudWatch, participates in on-call rotations, and enhances skills in AWS, Terraform, and CloudBees.
