Job summary

Lakefront Data Solutions is seeking a Cloud Solutions Engineer to help clients turn complex business and technical challenges into practical, scalable cloud and data solutions.

This client-facing engineering role combines technical implementation with problem-solving, consulting, and communication. You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to design solutions and deliver high-quality cloud and data services.

Qualifications

• Strong technical fundamentals and a willingness to learn.
• Basic experience with Python and SQL.
• Familiarity with modern data and cloud platforms such as Salesforce, dbt, Databricks, Snowflake, and at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Ability to work through ambiguous problems and develop practical solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver cloud, data, and integration solutions for clients.
• Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Work directly with clients to understand challenges and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain data pipelines, integrations, and cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and client stakeholders.
• Take ownership of technical delivery and follow projects through to completion.
• Identify opportunities to improve solutions and create additional value for clients.
• Continue developing technical, consulting, and client-facing skills.
