United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Software Developer to design, build, and maintain modern, cloud-based software solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The candidate should bring strong software engineering fundamentals, hands-on cloud experience (AWS), and a builder's mindset to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable systems. Remote work with global teams is supported.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, TS, Go, C#, C++, or Rust).
• Solid CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, OOP.
• Hands-on experience on a major public cloud platform, preferably AWS.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform) and CI/CD tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of security best practices and secure API design.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools in software development workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/SE or equivalent practical experience.
• Cloud certifications (AWS) are advantageous.
• Experience in ML, data engineering, or AI-enabled apps is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, secure, cloud-based software solutions.
• Build and maintain resilient distributed systems that are highly available and performant at scale.
• Develop software using Java, Python, TypeScript, Go, C#, C++, or Rust.
• Design and consume RESTful APIs and integration frameworks.
• Deploy and operate workloads on major cloud platforms and services.
• Define and manage infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply engineering best practices including testing, reviews, and secure coding.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Manage multiple development activities concurrently while meeting timelines and quality standards.
• Work with remote and globally distributed teams across time zones.
• Stay current with cloud technologies and AI-assisted development practices.
