Job summary
Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Santa Monica is seeking a Solutions Architect to help healthcare and life sciences customers migrate to AWS, design scalable cloud architectures, and drive adoption with executive engagement and technical leadership.
You will collaborate with AWS Sales and professional services, mentor junior SAs, and develop migration roadmaps and business cases to accelerate modernization and cloud adoption.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 2+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
Responsibilities
- Engage with executive and technical customers to design AWS-based solutions to business problems
- Understand and be able to explain key aspects of AWS services and how they fit into an overall technical architecture
- Guide customers on deploying infrastructure and applications in a secure, resilient, and scalable way
- Coach and mentor more junior SAs
- Lead enterprise Healthcare and Life Sciences customers with best-practice knowledge sharing and collaboration across the AWS solution architect community
