Job summary

Veriipro is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design and deploy secure, scalable cloud solutions in a Michigan-based role. The ideal candidate will lead enterprise cloud initiatives, focusing on Azure, with AWS and/or Google Cloud experience for multi-cloud integration.

You will drive IaC, automation, and modern DevOps practices, collaborating with security, governance, and development teams to deliver resilient architectures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong Azure design and implementation experience.
• Experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud.
• Expertise in IaC, automation, and modern cloud tooling.
• Deep knowledge of cloud networking, security, APIs, and integration.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud, and a solid background in cloud architecture, networking, security, Infrastructure as Code, and automation.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available enterprise cloud solutions.
• Develop cloud architecture strategies and technical solutions using Microsoft Azure.
• Evaluate and integrate AWS and/or Google Cloud services based on business and technical requirements.
• Lead cloud adoption, migration, modernization, and large-scale cloud transformation initiatives.
• Design cloud infrastructure and application architectures aligned with enterprise standards and best practices.
• Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration management, and automation solutions.
• Design and manage cloud networking, connectivity, security, APIs, and integration architectures.
• Collaborate with software development, infrastructure, security, and business teams to deliver cloud solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of infrastructure and application architecture.
• Experience supporting cloud adoption, migration, modernization, and large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of network operations, software development, and information security.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or .NET.
• Experience working with cloud ecosystems, APIs, and modern application frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.
