Job summary

BorgWarner Advanced Engineering in Auburn Hills, MI seeks a Cloud Software Development Lead to drive cloud-based SaaS solutions for AI/ML and E-Mobility projects. You will guide a growing software team and collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver enterprise-grade software.

Responsibilities include designing scalable microservice architectures, implementing CI/CD, integrating with Azure RBAC, deploying AI models at the edge, and building data pipelines for Microgrid and EV charging

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/EE or related field.
60 months of experience in job offered or related position.
Experience designing, developing, and deploying scalable enterprise web apps.
Experience with microservices and APIs.
Experience defining cloud-based application architecture.
Experience leading project teams with external partners.
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with cloud security best practices.
Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

Lead and guide a cloud software development team delivering enterprise-grade SaaS.
Design, develop, and deploy software for AI/ML and E-Mobility projects.
Define project scope with stakeholders and prepare specifications.
Oversee external service providers as needed.
Develop data collection pipelines for Microgrid and EV charging (OCPP/MODBUS).
Deploy AI models to edge-based solutions with distributed reliability.
Lead front-end development using Figma and Anima.
Develop APIs for mobile and microservice applications.
Ensure security, RBAC, and network considerations.
