Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking an automation and AI solutions engineer in Auburn Hills, MI to ideate, develop, and deploy automation frameworks and tools. You will build KPI dashboards in Power BI and advance AI-enabled workflows across business units.

You will integrate data from Jira, Polarion, SharePoint/ShareDocs, Bitbucket, and other tools into a unified analytics model while ensuring governance and security, and working across teams to enable adoption and change management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of development experience.
• Strong enthusiasm for AI, automation, and digital transformation.
• Experience with Copilot, Power Platform, cloud-based AI services, or RPA tools.

Responsibilities

• Ideate, develop, and deploy automation framework, tools and processes.
• Develop KPI dashboards in Power BI or similar tools.
• Lead AI-enabled workflows and solution discovery initiatives.
• Prepare data, perform quality checks, and document AI-driven processes.
• Collaborate across functions and support governance and security requirements.
