Job summary

Omm IT Solutions in Fort Meade, MD, is seeking a cloud software engineer for a permanent W-2/Corp2Corp role supporting cloud-native services and data-driven applications.

You will design, implement, test, and optimize software for high performance, containerized environments, and API integrations, with responsibilities spanning requirements analysis, coding, debugging, and documentation. This role requires active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly and a strong cloud background.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited college or university and four years of relevant cloud domain experience.
• A Master’s degree may substitute for two years of experience.
• In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, an additional four years of cloud domain experience may be substituted for total of eight years.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, integrate and test new features for cloud-native service offerings.
• Develop API-based interfaces to support search and presentation of operational data.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Develop and implement algorithms to meet performance standards.
• Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components.
• Modify existing software to adapt to new hardware and improve performance.
• Apply best practices in software development and configuration management.
