Qualifications

Within the last ten years, 7+ years combined experience in Java, C++, or Python.
Within the last seven years, 5+ years designing in Windows or UNIX/Linux environments.
Within the last three years, 3+ years with OpenSource (NoSQL) products like HBase, Accumulo, or BigTable.
Within the last three years, 1+ year experience with Map/Reduce.
Within the last three years, 1+ year experience with HDFS.
Within the last three years, 1+ year experience with OO design for systems.
Within past two years, 6 months development experience with Kubernetes/AWS/Azure/GCP.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and test features for cloud data stores and metadata repositories.
Develop web interfaces and RESTful APIs for content search and presentation.
Translate business needs into cloud-based technical specifications.
Provide ongoing support, testing, and maintenance for cloud solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze software requirements.
Ensure code quality through standards and peer reviews.
Create and maintain documentation for cloud software solutions.
