Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer III in Columbus to design and deliver scalable infrastructure and software solutions using Terraform, Golang, and AWS. You will join an agile team to develop secure, reliable technology products across multiple domains.

The role emphasizes infrastructure as code, collaboration with application teams, and CI/CD-driven deployments to support the firm’s business objectives.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 3+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code, Terraform and related tooling.
• Experience with AWS services and cloud native environments.
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in large corporate settings.
• Understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies including CI/CD and security.

Responsibilities

• Develop reusable Terraform templates and modules to abstract AWS complexity.
• Design and implement infrastructure-as-code to ensure security and compliance.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues and optimize Terraform configurations for performance.
• Develop software solutions and troubleshoot complex problems beyond routine tasks.
• Build scalable cloud-native software delivering highly available and resilient products.
• Create automation workflows to validate and deploy Terraform templates via CI/CD.
• Collaborate with application teams to translate infrastructure needs into modules.
