Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, development, testing and operational stability.
• Proficiency in Java server-side programming including Spring (Boot/MVC/Kafka).
• Experience designing high-throughput, low-latency mission-critical applications.
• Experience with distributed technologies and frameworks.
• Strong SQL skills (Oracle/Sybase/SQL Server/CockroachDB).
• Experience using messaging systems (Kafka, WebSphere MQ/JMS, RabbitMQ).
• Experience writing tests (JUnit/Mockito, Cucumber/Gherkin) and using Git.
