VTG in Virginia is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy cloud-based data platforms for mission-critical environments. You will work with a cross-functional team to parse raw data, store it in S3, and enable analysis with Athena and OpenSearch.

Qualifikationen

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field.
• Minimum 4 years of software engineering experience.

• Design, develop, test, and debug software in a cloud-based, scalable data platform.
• Contribute to building and维护 data ingestion and processing pipelines.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, PMs, and engineers to deliver solutions.
• Deploy tools to AWS-based data ingest pipelines and manage data in S3.
• Optimize indexing and data access strategies in OpenSearch.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and document new software and procedures.
• Continuously improve systems and capabilities in an agile team.
