Job summary

Wyetech, LLC is a federal contractor providing cloud software research, development, and engineering services to government clients. The role requires TS/SCI clearance and hands-on experience with Hadoop, Java/C/C++, and OpenSource NoSQL technologies.

Candidates will design, develop, deploy, and document analytics and cloud-based solutions for distributed environments. Applicants should have strong UNIX/Linux or Windows backgrounds, experience with RESTful services, and a track record of

Qualifications

• Within the last three years, a minimum of one year experience with Map/Reduce and/or Hadoop, Hive, and/or Pig.
• Within the last three years, a minimum of one year experience with HDFS.
• Five years programming experience in Java, C, and/or C++.
• Three years experience in Windows or UNIX/Linux environments.
• Three years experience with OpenSource NoSQL products for distributed computing.
• One year experience with requirements analysis and OO design.
• Experience developing Restful services.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related discipline; substitutions allowed as noted.

Responsibilities

• Provide cloud software research, development, and engineering services.
• Design and develop applications in Windows or UNIX/Linux environments.
• Develop Restful services and analytics.
• Document data models, schemas, and APIs.
• Deploy analytics within heterogeneous schema environments.
