Job summary

Premera is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to support and modernize Employee Experience and Finance systems using Azure and C#. The role focuses on designing cloud-based solutions, applying CI/CD, and delivering reliable software in a healthcare environment.

You will collaborate with IT leaders, translate complex requirements into code, and contribute to testing, documentation, and production support in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems is required.
• 1 year of software development experience and knowledge of the software development lifecycle is required.
• Experience with modern programming languages (C#) and business process automation is preferred.
• Exposure to RESTful APIs and integration services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Confer with stakeholders and IT leaders to understand business problems and identify software solutions.
• Analyze moderate risk business needs to determine solutions and design cross-platform software.
• Translate requirements into code and develop/modify software in a DevSecOps environment.
• Apply CI/CD, perform unit testing and test automation, and document results.
• Produce SDLC artifacts and support production systems and incident resolution.
