Job summary

Ocho is seeking a Software Engineer for Cloud & Customer Deployments (Golang, GCP & Terraform). This 100% remote role joins a fast-growing security-focused cloud company expanding its U.S. engineering team.

You will write production Golang code, build cloud infrastructure on GCP with Terraform, and onboard customers onto the platform with solution architects. You'll deploy to customer environments, automate deployments, and optimize high-availability distributed systems while working Pacific

Qualifications

Design, write and maintain software in Golang.
Lead customer onboarding to production environments.
Deploy and configure the platform in customer cloud environments.
Build infrastructure as code with Terraform for repeatable deployments.
Operate workloads on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities

Design, write and maintain software and services in Golang, from internal tooling to production-grade components.
Lead the technical side of customer onboarding, taking new customers from initial setup to fully deployed, production-ready environments.
Deploy and configure the platform in customer cloud environments, working with solution architects to tailor each rollout.
Build and manage Infrastructure as Code with Terraform to make deployments repeatable and reliable.
Deploy, operate and optimise workloads on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Develop automation, tooling and CI/CD pipelines that speed up onboarding and improve the developer experience.
