Job summary

Ocho is seeking a Software Engineer for Cloud & Customer Deployments (Golang, GCP & Terraform). This 100% remote role joins a fast-growing security-focused cloud company expanding its U.S. engineering team.

You will write production Golang code, build cloud infrastructure on GCP with Terraform, and onboard customers onto the platform with solution architects. You'll deploy to customer environments, automate deployments, and optimize high-availability distributed systems while working Pacific

Software Engineer – Cloud & Customer Deployments (Golang, GCP & Terraform) – Remote, USA

Ocho People are partnering with a fast-growing Series B cloud security company that's expanding its U.S. engineering team. Their platform is trusted by some of the world's most demanding organisations, including SpaceX, NASA, JP Morgan and Twitter.

This is a hands-on software engineering role with a strong customer focus. You'll write production Golang code, build cloud infrastructure on GCP with Terraform, and play a key part in onboarding and deploying new customers onto the platform. You'll work closely with solution architects to make sure every deployment is smooth, secure and built to scale.

The role is 100% remote from anywhere in the US, with working hours aligned to the Pacific time zone. It's virtually customer-facing, and no travel is required.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Strong software engineering experience in Golang (services, tooling or automation)
• Hands-on experience with GCP (GKE, Compute Engine, IAM, VPC, Cloud Storage, etc.)
• Solid experience using Terraform in production environments
• A good understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking and security
• Background in software engineering, DevOps or platform engineering
• Confidence working directly with customers to onboard and deploy technical solutions
• Comfortable working remotely on Pacific time zone hours

Nice to Have

• CI/CD tooling (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Multi-cloud experience (AWS or Azure)
• Previous experience with customer onboarding, implementation or SaaS deployments
