Job summary

Lenovo seeks an Application Engineer to join the PC Deployment Services team for PC and other endpoint devices. Cloud Deploy lets Lenovo Enterprise customers preload images or provisioning processes in the Cloud, accessible via secure credentials by mobile users anywhere, anytime.

As a software engineer on this team, you will develop, deploy and identify technical solutions used in the deployment process, including asset management, imaging, and factory software loads, while following best CI/CD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• 5+ years programming in Java, Ruby, C/C++, C#, Perl, Python or other scripting/programming languages.
• C# experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Working with the development team to identify and implement cloud-based solutions.
• Planning, designing, and developing desktop applications.
• Managing cloud environments per security guidelines.
• Deploying and debugging across the development lifecycle with CI/CD practices.
• Demonstrating ownership and DevOps mindset with testable, maintainable code.
• Stay current with industry trends and recommend improvements.
• Create, document, and execute test plans based on enhancements or fixes.
