Job summary

The Maven Group, LLC is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer for Raleigh, NC, onsite. The role requires active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and a strong background in cloud-native development using Java, Python, Go or Rust.

Candidates should have BS or MS in a related field, 8+ / 6+ years experience, and proven technical leadership. On-site 5 days a week; U.S. citizenship is required.

• Willing to work on-site 5 days a week at our Raleigh, NC location.

Position Requirements:

• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
• BS or higher in Computer science, IT, Engineering, Applied mathematics, or a closely related field
• 8+ years relevant work experience with BS
• 6+ years relevant work experience with MS
• Good oral & written communication skills
• Technical leadership experience

Preferred Experience & Skills as a Software Engineer:

• Designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications
• Implementing and managing event-driven architecture
• Building secure software solutions using Python, Java, Go or Rust with a focus on security best practices
• Design and implementation of User Interfaces (UI/UX)
• Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD)
• Practical experience and proficiency in software development using the Scrum framework
• Certified ScrumMaster recognized by the Scrum Alliance
