Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a security professional to join the Cloud Security Response team at AWS. You will investigate security issues across 200+ products, build automations, and work with engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities at scale.

The role requires hands-on diagnosis, strong security judgment, and collaboration across teams to drive risk-informed decisions and security improvements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of scripting, programming, and security code review.
• Experience with cloud services and cloud security concepts.
• Experience working across teams and influencing teams that are not your own.
• Experience mentoring, leading, or managing more junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Identify recurring security patterns across AWS services and drive proactive solutions.
• Build automation to scale incident response procedures.
• Own and drive security issues from identification through resolution.
• Independently reproduce and validate reported security issues.
• Investigate and analyze security data to scope impact and inform remediation.
• Develop and validate remediations through hands-on code with service teams.
• Communicate the state of security issues to all audiences up to CISO level.
