Job summary

MongoDB, the leading database platform, seeks an experienced InfraSec engineer to harden hosts and container workloads, and to secure multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will build automated security controls, monitor posture, and drive threat modeling through deployment and operations.

You will work within the InfraSec team under SRE, collaborating on runtime security, IaC workflows, and preventive guardrails to enable secure scale for Atlas users worldwide.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in SRE, Infra Engineering, or Cloud Security Engineering
• Senior: 5+ years in SRE, Infra Engineering, or Cloud Security Engineering
• Staff: 10+ years in SRE, Infra Engineering, or Cloud Security Engineering
• Strong coding skills in Go, Python, C, C++, or Rust
• Proven track record of large-scale distributed systems or cloud infra
• Hands-on with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
• Experience owning Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Responsibilities

• Harden hosts and container workloads using Linux security mechanisms and eBPF tooling
• Secure containerized infra across multi-cloud via RBAC, network policies, and Gatekeeper
• Build/manage CSPM, workload identity, vulnerability management, and access controls
• Write production-quality code and use Terraform to deploy security controls
• Create real-time security monitoring, logging, and alerting at Atlas scale
• Lead initiatives from threat modeling to production reliability
