Job summary

Hertz seeks a Cloud Security Engineer to design, build and operate cloud-native security controls across AWS, OCI, and hybrid environments. You’ll implement segmentation, ZTNA/SASE, and secure connectivity for distributed devices, while leading automation via Terraform, Ansible and scripting.

The role requires deep cloud networking experience, strong firewall expertise, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to embed secure-by-default patterns in CI/CD workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with security focus.
• Hands-on experience deploying cloud-network security at scale.
• Certifications such as PCNSE, AWS/SOX security are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native network security architectures across AWS/OCI.
• Engineer and operate next-gen firewall platforms and cloud firewalls.
• Develop scalable firewall and network security policies with segmentation.
• Automate guardrails and firewall ops using IaC and scripting tools.
• Integrate controls with cloud/hybrid infra and service-to-service communication.
• Support secure connectivity for distributed devices and mobile endpoints.
• Monitor security posture with logging, monitoring, and SIEM tools.
• Contribute to incident response and CI/CD security automation.
