Optimum, a leading connectivity provider, seeks a Lead Cloud Security Engineer to safeguard our cloud infrastructure. You will design secure cloud architectures, implement security controls, and mentor a team of cloud security engineers while aligning with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Info Security or related field; master's preferred.
• 8+ years in IT; 5-7 years in cloud security engineering for public clouds.
• Hands-on with CSPM, vulnerability management, network detection and response.
• Proficient in IAM, Zero Trust, IaC, CI/CD pipelines and security controls.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure cloud architectures with CSPM, vulnerability mgmt, and NDR.
• Deploy security tools: CSPM, vulnerability mgmt, IDS/IPS, encryption, access controls.
• Develop monitoring for security incidents; lead risk assessments and pen tests.
• Automate security processes; enforce policies across cloud deployments.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS; document controls and procedures.
• Provide security training and mentor cloud security engineers.
• Collaborate with IT, Dev and Compliance to embed security in cloud workloads.
• Understand cloud usage patterns and cost models for secure, economical ops.
• Lead projects and guide teams to timely, effective security outcomes.
