Waypoint’s client seeks an experienced Security Engineer focused on Cloud Security to support cybersecurity engineering, cloud security architecture, and infrastructure protection for mission-critical systems in the Intelligence Community. You will design, implement, and maintain secure cloud environments while embedding security controls across cloud migration, system design, development, and deployment.
The ideal candidate has strong cloud security engineering expertise, with AWS, Azure or GCP
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- IAM Level III certification per DoD requirements.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM field.
- Minimum 5 years in cybersecurity/cloud security or related field.
- Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP cloud security architectures.
Responsabilités
- Apply cloud security engineering principles across design, migration, and deployment lifecycles.
- Develop and maintain secure cloud architectures and infrastructure controls.
- Assess environments to identify vulnerabilities and compliance risks.
- Collaborate with cloud architects and cybersecurity professionals to integrate security requirements.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to leadership and teams.
