Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a Security Engineer to bolster the HIOS Platform Team within a federal production environment. You will design, implement, and maintain robust security controls to protect cloud infrastructure and sensitive data.

As part of a cross-functional Agile team, you will automate security workflow lifecycles, perform threat modeling, and conduct risk assessments using monitoring tools (Splunk, New Relic, SIEM).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least four years of relevant security experience across compliance, identity, networking, and cloud security, plus experience researching security issues and assessing risk using monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Research security issues and assist in creating new security technology solutions.
• Design and develop scripts to automate security control workflows.
• Evaluate risk using monitoring systems and tools (Splunk, New Relic, firewall, SIEM, vulnerability scans).
• Develop and implement information security procedures, adhering to best practices and compliance.
• Execute large client data classification and security assessments.
• Develop and enforce policies for secure API key generation, storage, and rotation.
• Manage remediation plans in support of risk assessment goals.
• Conduct threat modeling to identify risks and vulnerabilities.
• Follow CMS security, accessibility, documentation, configuration management, and SDLC requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and security knowledge sharing to team members.
