Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with security assessments or security design reviews or threat modeling.
• 2 years of experience with security engineering, computer and network security and security protocols.
• 2 years of coding experience in one or more general purpose languages.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and delivery of secure, high-quality engineering solutions for Alphabet's multi-cloud infrastructure.
• Implement cloud security controls and support the maintenance of well-lit paths balancing developer velocity with security requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to enforce security controls within project scopes.
• Identify and implement technical improvements to existing security controls and security standards across cloud initiatives.
