Job summary

Lam Research in Fremont, CA is seeking an Information Security Engineer to own the engineering, operation, and improvement of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) and Microsoft Defender for Identity (MDI) capabilities across the enterprise. This role will partner with SOC, GIS, and infrastructure teams to strengthen the cloud security program.

The position requires 7+ years in information security with strong AD/identity security, Defender products, and Azure security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in an Information Security role with strong AD/identity security and endpoint protection.
• Experience integrating Defender products and Azure security practices.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end engineering and lifecycle management for MDE and MDI.
• Maintain platform configurations aligned with security best practices.
• Improve detection, prevention, and response capabilities across cloud solutions.
• Perform security reviews and architecture assessments to mitigate gaps.
• Develop KPIs and executive reports on cloud security program effectiveness.
• Lead roadmap development and remediation for misconfigurations and findings.
